This show is getting "New York Undercovered," and if you watched that show, you know what I'm talking about.

Is there something going on behind the scenes? I mean, for them to push Orlando and, uh, Jenny, to the side like they have? I LOVED Irving. (Jenny, eh, not so much.) Granted, Hawley's hot, but, much like Katrina, not needed.
The Henry story is played out. Bring back imminent danger, dammit. I fell asleep watching the last episode.

OMG! The Mills sisters were actually in a scene with Irving! OMG! Black folks together!
Seriously, this was one of the best episodes this season. I needed this to remind me what this show used to be about. They could have easily cut out those ridiculous scenes with Henry/Jeremy, Katrina and the magical demon baby and no one would have missed them. I didn't even miss Ichabod. I enjoyed the fact that he was laid low with a cold.
Abbie needed to be away from the Crane family melodrama for a little bit. She & Jenny needed closure with their mom. They needed to find out that the fight against Moloch is what drove her crazy and that evil nurse Hatchett "killed" her. I especially liked the continuity of their ancestor, Grace, having the answers they needed to defeat nurse Larson. Finally, someone remembered Grace and the power she welded. About damn time.
Irving is free! Hallelujah. I don't quite understand why Moloch would allow him to be killed if he's already sold his soul to Jeremy, but...that was a minor quibble. I'm glad he's free. Get him some regular clothes. Let him be RamboIrving! and let's get on with kicking Jeremy/Abraham/Moloch's collective asses.

By far the best episode of the season obviously the producers are listening! Again, on a shallow note I am coveting Abbie's wonderful selection of leather jackets and am jealous of how well both Abbie and Jenny wear the simplest clothing and make them look so good. I did like the demon baby though, kind of freaked me out.

That episode was great! I feel a tiny bit bad that I didn't miss Ichabod, but it was good to see the girls together (and Hawley assisting them.) This ragtag gang is going to make a great team.

FINALLY!! An episode of Sleepy Hollow that didn't make me want to punch something at the end!!! YAY!!! Crane with a cold and a blanky? Adorable! But onto the plot!!!
Mills Sisters and Irving finally getting both screen time AND a story line all their own! Not only did Great Great Great Grandma Grace make a reappearance, but we finally got the whole story on Mama Mills... well... I DO hope there is a little something more to her tale (After all, we're still finding out things about Corbin well after his demise) But if that was it for Mama Mills- it was a beautiful wrap up. She fought for her girls and reminds them to fight!
And since they now have Grandma Grace's handy book of spells that actually WORK- I see no need for Katrina AT ALL!
Crane, of course is adorable. However, he wasn't necessary at all here. Hawley wasn't necessary either- and could have easily been replaced in all actions and dialogue with Crane. OR left out all together. What purpose did he serve in the whole episode? He happened to have a knife when Irving needed to be cut loose... Well, come on- like Abbie or Jenny couldn't have gotten a knife. Sisters were doin' it for themselves!! Their encounter with their mother was both touching and cathartic. I'd almost compare it to the Winchester Brothers seeing their Dad get out of Hell... except the Mama Mills wasn't at all the dink John Winchester was. And she spent all that time painting a mural of her girls!! AWWWWW!!
I hope Abbie and Jenny are healed up enough from their past that there's no hard feelings left between them and nothing left to do but take up their mother (and gggggggrandmother's) mantle and kick much ASS!!!
And Irving- well as many times as I've begged them to spring Irving this whole season- he goes and springs himself! D'awwwwww!!! Back in the saddle!!! YAY!! Now he just needs his pesky soul back. But hey, since what will give him his soul back is killing someone... there are PLENTY of folks who could use killing! Hey Katrina! You're finally useful!!
Oh ok, maybe that would be too mean to have Irving kill Katrina- and it might leave hard feelings with Crane. But how about Irving shoves Katrina's wibbling self aside and actually kills Henry?!?! Or Moloch! You know, like Katrina was SUPPOSED to do!!!
Seriously, is she REALLY that dense?!?! Henry shows up with a random baby two seconds after she nearly birthed Moloch and she can't put two and two together??? I guess her corset is cutting off the blood flow to her brain. (I mean honestly, woman! If you're in the 21st Century and your name isn't Dita Von Teese- take off the friggin' CORSET!!!) I changed my mind. I don't care if it's mean or will cause bad feelings with Crane. Kill Katrina, Irving! Get your soul back and Rambro the baddies back to Hell!
If Crane's all sad about it, just feed him some soup, pat his pretty hair and let him sleep it off while Irving and the Mills Sisters get to WORK! (Hawley can hold their flashlight for them)

I actually wouldn't mind just the Mills sisters, Irving and cute blonde Hawley for the next few episodes, Crane has been slightly annoying for most of this season.

Does this mean Irving will be hiding out with Crane?

I hope so, maybe Irving can teach Crane to be cool.
Update: Finally an episode that has a bit of a feel from the first season.
