No - in the Winter Soldier film it was Anthony Mackie/Falcon. I think fans would actually riot if they killed him. The best theory I've heard for Trip's possible survival is that he could be a Life Model Decoy like Patton Oswalt's character (which I don't think has actually been confirmed yet, but...).

Skye shooting Ward single-handedly redeemed EVERY past misstep they've ever made with her character. That. Was. Awesome. I love, LOVE that they took the "tragic bad boy" thing and had the heroine literally shoot it down with extreme prejudice. I like Ward as a wild card character and I'm glad they seem to be keeping him that way. This show really deserves the "most improved" award. I thought it was Blandy McBland when it first started, but I'm completely hooked now and I can't wait to see where they take things from here. YES to all of this! I hope Mac is all right. And I am super sad about Trip.

I was hopeful for a couple of minutes that he was going to be OK, but once those shards hit him, I knew it was probably over. Clark Gregg posted a cute video of the cast saying their goodbyes to BJ Britt (not sure what to make of the ending though). I read that he's cast on one of Tyler Perry's shows too.

I have been catching up on Season through Netflix and this is not a bad show, even Season 1. I watched the first few episodes when it originally aired and was very "meh" about it.

The flashbacks in last night's episode made me almost wish this show had been Edward James Olmos/Lucy Lawless/Adrienne Palicki/Henry Simmons as the main cast from the start. Now that's Team Badass. I know they're quasi-bad guys now but they're so much more interesting than Coulson and Skye.

Anyone see Ward back on last night's episode?

But I LURVE Coulson! Anyone see Ward back on last night's episode? Coulson's my favorite! though I really like May too. I thought Ward was great in last night's episode - i have no idea what his final plan is or who is double-crossing who but he's a fun bad guy to have around. I loved when he looked at Coulson and casually shot the Hydra guy 3 more times. Kyle Maclachlan really made me feel some sympathy for Cal last night too - he's so good in that role. I'm curious what impact Age of Ultron will have on what happens on the show.

Ward is so much more interesting as a baddie. It was nice to see him back.

Loved having Ward, the badass eye candy, back! And I also loved the casually shooting the guy moment. It was VERY Ward. SkyeDaddy was awesome as always. Poor Lincoln - he looked like he got mega jacked up by Deathlock. Dr. Bakshi is deliciously evil too. Great episode!
