Not as ridiculous as Note Underroad would be.

I had to google him to make sure that was his real name. It's so soap opera-y. But he's from Nashville and dad's a country-western songwriter, so it makes a bit more street. His brother is named Nash. Their parents were definitely prepping them for a career in show business. Seems like an odd pairing. ETA: **more sense** don't know what I was thinking when I originally typed this. I just realized I know who his father is. Paul Overstreet wrote " Love Can Build a Bridge" for the Judds. I have a friend who SWEARS he was cheated out of a co-writing credit on that song. (Naomi Judd and John Barlow Jarvis are listed as co-writers. I have no idea who John Barlow Jarvis is). I don't know whether to believe my friend or not, even though he is usually truthful. He always tells the story in a wistful, the one who got away manner. I keep on expecting him to say, "I coulda been a contender!" Songwriters/musicians tend to exaggerate about stuff like that. Needless to say, my friend is no longer in the music industry. The names in the Overstreet family: Nash Summer Chord Harmony Skye Charity

Emma has a gorgeous new British Vogue cover. In the interview, she says: What's wrong with single as a descriptor? Self-partnered just smacks of trying too hard and still having to define yourself in terms of coupling. Is she going to consciously uncouple with herself in a few years too?

I think it's a bit silly, but all things considered, there are much worse things she could be doing. At least she's not preaching the gospel of shoving jade eggs where the sun don't shine.

I prefer being independently owned and operated myself to be honest!

She's not single. She's between relationships. The potential for her not to be single in the near future is very high. I'm fat and middle aged. No one's coming near me. That's single.

Self-partnered deserves an eye roll, for sure.
