I love him! He was absolutely fantastic in MI-5/Spooks - his monologue MADE the biggest/most shocking scene of the entire series (to me, anyway). I will not mention the circumstances as it's a major spoiler, but I highly recommend that show to everyone.
I think he had a small part in an episode of As Time Goes By as well, although I can't find it on his IMDB page.
More David, please!

He was literally the only part of Lee Daniels' The Butler that didn't give me douche chills.

I will not mention the circumstances as it's a major spoiler, but I highly recommend that show to everyone. I didn't realize he was Danny until I looked him up on IMDB last week. I really like MI-5, and I sobbed during that scene. He's been working a lot lately, and I hope that continues.

He jumped on my radar with the Tuskagee Airmen movie - you could tell that he had "it," that elusive star power.

Oyelowo at the AFI Film Festival. I feel bad that I originally had Selma in my Oscar predictions after reading that it was being pushed to come out this year in December, but then dropped it after a few early screenings didn't seem to have positive buzz since it was well received at the AFI festival. Here's a trailer for Selma. I'm glad that I'm excited for this film again because I was disappointed by the few early reports.

So dreamy.
The scene in The Butler where he (the son) sees how terrified Forest Whitaker (his father) is to be in jail for the first time, just smiles, and then comforts him was great. He and Oprah made that movie into the cult classic it will eventually become.

Loved him ever since Spooks. Glad to see him doing so well.
Yeah I'm pretty sure he played Lionel's "son".
