^I see, so she was from the Azealia Banks school of social media meltdowns (I think they recently pulled her account away from her & gave to a PR rep b/c she got into beefs SO often).

They have a major beef with each other! Azealia Banks totally went after her a month or so ago.
However, Azealia Banks is waaaay worse. She blew up at fans who told her to not use homophobic slurs... and she has done other things. She REALLY tanked her career. But I sort of feel bad, as I think she has seriously mental-health issues, honestly.

They've been feuding for YEARS and Banks has already made fun of Iggy's new face, but I think bklynred was more comparing them as social media drama queens. I would say Banks wins, far and away, largely because a lot of what she says is intentionally provocative. Iggy is just entitled and tone deaf. I just remembered another incident where she had a Papa John's pizza delivered to her house and the pizza delivery guy gave her cell number to his younger sister. The sister called and Iggy sent a barrage of angry tweets to Papa John's and then did a radio interview where she was literally screaming about how it wasn't about her but she wanted to make sure others were safe. I completely understand why this would bother her, but it came off as so whiny and melodramatic.
OT: I actually think Banks might have fucked up into luck. Even though she never became the next Li'l Kim, she still reportedly makes upwards of a million a year for her shows. In terms of longevity and sustainability, an argument could be made that there's an advantage to not burning as bright and becoming a hasbeen. I won't do a long thesis on why I think that may be the case, but if reports are to be believed, she's a remarkably successful indie artist. She had a show here in NYC recently at Irving Plaza, which is about 1000-seat theater, and it sold out in minutes.

Yep. I was agreeing that they are both drama queens online. So much so that they sometimes feed off each other, hah.
We'll have to see how Azaelia Banks fairs. She has faced a lot of criticism lately for her online drama, including angrily defending her right to use the homophobic f-bomb, and that it's not homophobic when she does it. Yeah. No.
She doesn't know when to let things drop/listen to what people are saying to her. And I do think she acts like she has some sort of mental illness. But Sometimes she blows up over the right thing, and it's entertaining.

What did she do to her face? Nose job? Chin implant? Something is different and her face is freaking me out. At the very least, chin, and it looks like nose and cheek work, too. It probably will look a little better once everything settles, but it's looking like hot ass right now ... especially in motion.Someone at LSA said she looks like the White Chicks, and holy crap!, she totally does! It's pretty sad that she's convinced that it's her looks that are the problem when her lack of talent is the obvious problem. As a captioner, I wouldn't even attempt to interpret this gibberish. I'd politely caption [ rapping ] but I'd be so tempted to put [(?) rapping (?)] She really is just playing a character when she's on stage, and she's doing a piss poor job of it. Even her blaccent is all wrong.

When she's talking about Eminem getting a pass, that's some short memory there IMO. Yup, him being a white man played a major role in his success and in him surviving various controversies, no doubt about it. But around 2000? There were protests against him, his songs were partly banned, there were congressional hearings about it. Now he's not the cultural lightning rod he was at that time, right or wrong people got used to him, so if he wins a Grammy for an album that was a bestseller and critically praised, it's not a big deal anymore.
And there were Vanilla Ice comparisons with Eminem as well. But since he's a skilled rapper, no matter what you may think about some of the content of his songs, those voices didn't gain as much traction. With Iggy, she's not very good and then gets defensive and angry when people point that out. Vanilla Ice was like that as well, come to think of it: Always angry and trying and failing to prove that he was "the real deal".

The epitome of not being an mc is her supposedly "freestyling" on Sway's radio show. She just did a verse from one of her songs. Pathetic as well as that gibberish mess posted.

The White Chicks comparison is what Snoop Dogg originally made, and what fueled their "feud". She subsequently dressed like one of the characters in that movie for Halloween, which just proved his point. And now this last bout of plastic surgery has sealed the deal... she really does look like she's wearing a mask.

I'm surprised she's not rocking contacts also.
This is going to sound mean, but if she wanted a more defined chin she could have borrowed some from Rumer Willis. (/small voice)
