I have a feeling that if she were Asian, non-white Latina or black, folks wouldn't be calling her a talented, hardworking actress. They'd be saying she was overexposed.
But because she is a Swedish version of the beloved, interchangeable, Hollywood English Rose, she's the go-to ingenue of the moment.
It's funny that Hollywood caters to the massive market of China, not by making movies with Asian leads but by casting more white people.
Well, at least as English Rose types go, Ms. Vikander has tanned skin.
