Huh? Did I miss something?
I heard that on the radio and I too thought it was so odd. Does anyone even watch the TV Guide Channel? They got quite a bit of cash to go there from E!, but I never hear anything about it. I have it on Satellite, but never watch, it seemed cheap and cheesy the one time I checked in. Anyone know how the channel is fairing?

It just seems to be the filler above the channel listings.
All right, I hate Joan, but this is comedy GOLD:

It was in reply to the interview It was not the first time I have seen people give interviews and the person makes it seem like all gay people like this or that celebrity.

So did I. I thought Kate Winslet looked fine in the movie, but Joan's comment made me laugh out loud.

True story: she taught me the word "bitch." I've always been a night owl and she was a talk show hostess when I was a wee lad and she said bitch quite frequently. I didn't realize it was a bad word! My kindergarten teacher was not happy. The documentary "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work" is wonderful and really revealing about her. She is a true pioneer. Also, she had an AMAZING guest spot on Louie this season. (Which is a weird/funny/awesome show that is very underwatched). The reason i'm bumping though is that she decided to smoke up a huge bowl while being filmed for her reality show. (I guess she's used medical marijuana for post-plastic surgery pain). She calls Melissa to pick her up after she and her friend get to baked to drive. Hilarity ensues.

I can't stand that little whiny bitch (Melissa). I wonder if Joan put a hit out on the boyfriend? I actually still like and admire Joan. Sure she's rough, but she's a comic. She never puts out what she can't take back in return. She's brutal on Fashion Police, but at least it's her schtick. The others think they're funny, but they're just mean and obnoxious.

Which I think is part of being a genuine comic's comic. She doesn't throw shade without expecting to get some sass or one-liners or snark in return. Her roast is awesome for that very reason.
One of the best parts in her documentary is when they show the giant filing cabinet where she keeps every joke she's written on hundreds (thousands, probably) of index cards. She takes her craft seriously.

She's the only reason I continue to watch Fashion Police. I may disagree with her assessments, but she's still funny. The others...I don't even know. Personally I think a person who dyes their hair grey voluntarily is in no position to be criticizing anyone else's style.

I respect her in many ways and like a lot of her comedy, but she is so cruel sometimes and not in a funny way. I definitely respect her (I cannot imagine the shit she took as a female comedian), but I find it hard to like her.
I cannot stand Melissa.
