According to the Guardian his sentencing date is set for September 24th though his attorneys had petitioned for sentencing to wait until the end of the year.
Also, both he and Roman Polanski have been expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

After decades of enabling standing by her husband, Camille Cosby may finally be preparing to divorce Bill. This comes about a month after she claimed her husband's guilty verdict was "mob justice." I seriously doubt the woman grew a conscience. One theory I have heard from on Facebook is that Camille wants to grab as much money as she can on the way out.

That this is a plan by the both of them to hang on to as much money as possible.

There's no way that now is the moment she says "enough is enough" (if it was right after the verdict that would be at least vaguely believable). My vote is also for the trying-to-protect-the-assets theory.

Yep, it's like the Russell Williams case in Canada, his wife divorced him in order to keep her assets safe from lawsuits claiming she knew, and enabled him.

I saw Russell, and Canada, and thought you meant Russell Peters (whom I adore!) and almost starting freaking out. Jeez. Thought I was about to lose another one. As for the divorce I don't get why this is a strategy to hide cash. If there is a potential class action lawsuit, the attorneys will see this ploy for what it is, and go after Camille's half too. What a bizarre strategy. They can sue her for being complicit in his crimes, and bankrupt her too.

What a bizarre strategy. They can sue her for being complicit in his crimes, and bankrupt her too. Staying married, the lawyers go after 100% of the joint assets. If they split, the lawyers can go after the half with the guy that committed the crime and was convicted (fairly easy), but the other half is now with someone who wasn't charged/convicted, and who may or may not have known anything. That would be separate from the first lawsuit, and would be much harder to prove (and has a built-in defence - "of course I didn't know, that's why I divorced him"). Not saying they wouldn't, just that the Cosby's are probably relying on the lawyers only going after the low-hanging fruit.

It's entirely possible that everyone will know it's a ruse to protect his fortune, but it will slow down the courts' seizure process considerably if they decide to go after two estates instead of just one.
