When I think about Cosby and what he did. I think about those countless young women, many of them probably black; who went to see him, maybe about a role on his show, thinking he was a fatherly type of man, someone they could trust. Then he drugs and rapes them. I wonder how many young women left Hollywood, decided they didn't want to be in the business if that's what it's about, I wonder how many of them went back to their hometowns, took a job in an office, got married, had kids, but always wondered what might have been. Because I think there are more victims, most of them will stay silent until they day they die.
I also now wonder about Lola Falana, she was a dancer on the show Cosby had in the early 70's, "The New Bill Cosby Show," (because he had a show called "The Bill Cosby Show" on NBC, in the late 60's. She was this beautiful, sexy dancer, I remember she was in a few blacksploitation films, and she did his show and kind of disappeared, not really disappeared but she went to Vegas where she was very popular, but in the early 70's, I think she was trying to be more mainstream, before she did the Cosby show. I saw her in a play called Dr. Jazz a few years after Cosby's show was cancelled, and I got her autograph, but now thinking about this, I wonder.

All that talent lost, shut down, ignored, silenced. As long as he was in the business, there HAD to be more. Lola Falana was GORGEOUS- was she Fred Sandford's 'dream girl'? Like, the one he always talked about not that she was ever on the show.

He's in a brand new "state of the art" prison in Pennsylvania. I wonder if there is a VIP wing?

Just wanted to pop by this thread to remind myself there is some justice in the world today. It's helping a little.

This sums up my thoughts on Bill Cosby, and read the comments too. Bill Cosby Hates You. I’m just disappointed that so many people are supporting these idiot conspiracy theories that “the man” took Bill Cosby down because he wanted to buy NBC. Bill Cosby had briefly expressed interest in buying NBC in 1992 and it went nowhere. Ugh.

Buying NBC would have cost around $4 billion at that time. Cosby wasn't anywhere near rich enough.

Somehow I missed that he was already in prison. That seems so surreal. Bill Cosby is in prison.
And yeah - for all her support and denying the stories of his victims, Camille has not visited him? Nor any of his kids? That does say a lot.
