Don't worry. We are going to get all the gory details of what Bill Clinton has been up to since 2000 once Hillary accepts the Democratic nomination just in time to hand the GOP the presidency. The media and the GOP will unleash it all then. It's pretty much an open secret in Washington while Hillary was Senator that Bill was screwing around every chance he got.

TMZ is reporting another woman has come forward, stating that Cosby drugged her in 2008.
First of all - dude. He was still doing this as recently as 2008?
Second of all - if he was, 2008 is within the statue of limitations in California (where she says it took place).

Bill Cosby needs to be banned from the Playboy Mansion. Bill needs to be banned from the Cosby mansion too, but it doesn't sound like Camille will be doing that any time soon.

I wonder whether SVU will have the balls to do their take on this at the case of the week. It'd give Benson an opportunity to get all self-righteous. ETA: Maybe not. I remember now Michelle Hurd speaking out about Cosby's lechery. If the show were to go there, that could be so meta.

Carla Ferrigno (wife of Lou Ferrigno) went on a double date with the Cosbys in the late 1960s. She says that after Camille went to bed, Cosby tried to force himself on her. More on the incident here. Carla believes that Camille is well aware of her husband's behavior. Kathie Lee Gifford just said on Today that while she had a positive work experience and fond memories of Cosby, when she had a gig opening for him in the 70s, he came onto her, but she turned him down. She also said he would make cappuccino for her and her back-up singers, and now she's thinking back on those memories differently, in light of the drugging allegations. I guess I'm different, because I wouldn't see those as positive or fond memories. A married man (possibly in a position of influence over my career) propositioning me? No thanks. Sure it was a different time, and Cosby's infidelity was apparently rampant and an open secret, but I'm still so surprised at the number of people who knew about all the cheating (regardless of the drugging and raping) and still think/thought Bill is/was a great guy.

She's not saying that him coming on her to was a fond memory. At least, I don't think she. I read it as, "She has fond memories, but she also has others ones that are not fond, and also problematic -- like the coffee making -- in light of the recent accusations."

I read it as, "She has fond memories, but she also has others ones that are not fond, and also problematic -- like the coffee making -- in light of the recent accusations." I don't think I was clear in my previous post. Not that she thought his coming on to her was okay, or thought that those were good memories. Just the general attitude of people that knew him back in the day, has never been to contradict his beloved manufactured image. He was clearly never the man he pretended to be on tv. He had a revolving door of ladies, frequented the Playboy mansion, and propositioned just about everyone he met. But the universal, prevailing attitude of Bill Cosby has always been that he's a swell guy. America's favorite dad. No one had ever even insinuated that Cliff Huxtable and Bill Cosby were two extremely different people. It's just weird. So many people had run ins with him, but no one had previously reported on his shady behavior, i.e. the cheating.

It IS strange!
I got the feeling from listening to KLG that being a young, single starlet in the 70s was a tough row to hoe. Being kissed, groped, and propositioned by men in positions of power was probably all in a day's work. She said that the entire time she opened for Cosby, she never once saw Camille. I wouldn't be surprised if the drug-laced drink thing was an open secret and she never touched them. She said that Beverly Johnson's story about the laced cappuccino gave her chills.

Some very brave people did speak up years ago, but it was not picked up by the media. Too unpopular, I guess. Nowadays, anyone can write anything on the internet so it's relatively easy to spread your personal news, but it used to be that one needed an actual news outlet to help them reach people.
