In advance, shut up, Sam Lufti.

That sounds reasonable. Long enough for any new meds to kick in and therapy to sink in.

I've heard that when people have schizophrenic breaks they can't always return to the level of mental health they were at before when they were on the right medications. I don't know if that's true, but she might have set herself back a long ways by being off her meds for just a few months. What a sad illness.

TMZ says her parents have been granted another conservatorship because she's been buying jewelry and handing it to complete strangers.

No, no one has released a statement on her medical condition/diagnosis recently. I doubt they will, unless Amanda goes on record at some point like some celebrities do eventually.

I think Amanda is so far gone she will never truly be functional. It's so sad. She seemed so well adjusted before all of this.

TMZ has pics of Amanda and a story about her getting released. If she was let out of the 30-day LPS hold, them it seems the conservatorship that several outlets reported her mother got was a probate conservatorship, and not an LPS conservatorship. An LPS conservatorship would have allowed involuntary treatment if appropriate. (And If they had granted the LPS conservatorship, the 30-day hold wouldn't have been necessary.) My best guess is that Amanda's mom got a probate conservatorship over her estate, and probably over Amanda's person as well. But it's my understanding that a probate conservatorship over the person is limited to overseeing routine medical care and doesn't automatically allow the conservator to involuntarily admit the conservatee into a locked facility for psychiatric care; a judge would have to grant that.
