Here's a recent article about Rosie: RosieIt mentions her "coming out", the end of her show and talks about the troubles with her magazine. It was during the magazine fight that Rosie showed her true colors (yellow included!!!) ;D

With all the talented woman out there, this is the best they can do? Ever since Rosie's "coming out," she's been a cranky, negative, repulsive little person. When The View's ratings drop because of Sir Rosie, I'm sure people will say it's because America is full of homophobes. I'll call this one a year in advance.

Wonder if she'll have the cojones to inform Star and Al that liars get cancer.

Wasn't she just calling Star a liar on national television lately? about her weight loss?
I just can't see this happening, not with Star staying. Should be interesting to say the least.

From what I've heard from someone who worked with her, Rosie has always been a big bitch. Even during her "nice TV persona" days.

I've heard that too. I heard it back when she was a struggling comic doing stand -up.

I just don't think she'll be a good fit with the rest of the panel. Joy Behar maybe, but the rest of them seem kind of uptight in comparison to Rosie.
She used to be so funny. WTF happened? She was one of the only comedians to say anything against Woody Allen when the whole Soon Yi thing came out. She said her agent said she shouldn't upset Woody because it could hurt her career.
She replied, " So I won't get to be in Annie Hall 2. Bite me."

If she's really joining The View, then Star must be on her way out. I can't see any other way.

She must be a fan of Coldplay. That is all I have to say.

Yeah, I really can't picture this lasting, especially with the current group of The View ladies. Star will leave, or Rosie will leave.
Honestly, what an odd choice. She is just extremely negative and has the maturity of a 12 year old. I can see the little chit-chat session they all do at the beginning of the show getting really ugly really fast. People will tune in intitially out of curiosity, but I think she'll eventually drive the viewers away in droves (unless she has seriously changed her tune).
And of course she'll say it is because America is homophobic. To which I would love to say to her, "Okay, then explain the success of Ellen's talk show. People are turned off by you because you're mean, not because of your lifestyle."
