JDub, I have to agree with a lot your sentiment. I loved her on the early seasons of KofQ, thought she was hilarious on her Mtv specials, and I was able to completely ignore her clammy affiliation. I thought her hard-as-nails schtick was entertaining, because she at least had a sense of humour. When she used to threaten to kick people's asses, I thought it was just part of her "Brooklyn" charm. I don't know when she became such a humourless cow.

I can sympathize with Leah, she made a mistake getting involved in the Suri gate thing, but speaking out once doesn't mean people have to keep asking her about the whole thing. She was there for the Emmy's, which had nothing to do with TomKat. And referring to a baby as "it" is screwed up of Seachrist, so I'd be annoyed too.
Also if some woman told me I was sweaty I'd call her a bitch too. That's a bitchy thing to say.

If Leah is irritated that so many people are asking her about Wee's & Yeti's Tiny Dark Alien, then perhaps she should shut up about it.
Leah really rubs me the wrong way. She always has a chip on her shoulder about something, and then gets annoyed when someone in the press asks her a chip-oriented question. If the press bugs you so damn much, first of all, boo-hoo; second of all, get another job where you don't have to deal with the press. My choice is for number two.

Well it's screwed up on both of them then. I don't like either much, but I'm leaning towards Leah in this because she was on Saved by the Bell.
eta: I understand about the highhorse thing, scarlet. The woman has such an abrasive personality you think she'd at least try to be likeable. If you're going to be an ass or if you are in a particularly bad mood, or you don't like the questions you know people are going to ask you...don't give interviews. Just pose for pictures and walk inside.

Well it's screwed up on both of them then. Hence, Leah had no grounds to hoist herself up on her high horse. As to the sweaty comment, the reporter tried to give her a compliment, telling her she was glowing (implication: she looked good), and the crab-ass couldn't even comprehend it. Serves her right for getting called sweaty.

Seems like I read somewhere a couple of years ago that she and Kevin James loathe each other and that the KoQ set is not a happy place when they're both there. Anyone else remember seeing this?

I've heard they get along really well and have a great time joking around on set. I think that was a rumor that started a couple of years ago because Leah and Kevin had less and less storylines together. I think that had more to do with the writers not being able to come up with any new stuff to happen to Doug and Carrie. I didn't watch most of season 8, but the show has really gone downhill. I think it hit a rut when she got pregnant and never made it's way back. It's like they didn't know what to do with her when she stopped being "hot".
I also wonder if there's some bitterness in her over the fact that she didn't get a fat raise this time around like Kevin did. She used to post a News section on her website that I'd peek in on occasionally, and one of the last updates she did was to say that the show was coming back to do it's last season. Shortly after that, there was something in the news about Kevin getting more money for the show but no mention of her, and soon after she got rid of the New section on her site.

But whatever happened to old Hollywood glamour? Not that Seacrest would have ever been allowed to hold a microphone in those days either - but geez, chick - smile and move on.
