I heard cruel speculation around the time of their break-up that she didn't like kids and that she liked to eat.
Remember her with John Stamos? They were so pretty and happy together. God I feel old and disillusioned.
At least she didn't end up with Arsenio.

John Stamos adored her. He said the reason they broke up was because she wanted to focus on career and wasn't ready to settle down.

Her E! True Hollywood Story has clips of an interview with her from the period where she was struggling with painkiller addiction, and her slurring of words and dazed-ness was quite disturbing, and a big contrast to these days.

The "Cold-Hearted Snake" video remains one of my favorite videos of all time. Sooo sex-ay. It was what Britney's "Slave" tried to be but failed miserably at.

"Forever Your Girl" was the first album I ever bought, so I'll always have a soft spot for Paula. I liked the album after that, too (Spellbound?). Say what you will, she had some damn catchy pop tunes on those records.
LOL. I have to admit, if a sex tape had come out of that relationship, I'd probably watch it.

I agree with your comments about Paula who appears to have bad luck in love. I read last year that Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell makes a lot more than Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. But I still hope Paula makes enough money to get her breasts fixed and to hire a stylist.

Poor Paula. I too fondly remember the Rush Rush, Cold Hearted Snake (yes, kick ass video!) days. Thanks for reminding me of Promise of a New Day - loved that song too. She didn't have the best voice, but the production on the songs made them really good and the videos (stretched out and all) were always great. Um, except Opposites Attract. We'll just forget that ever happened. Anyway, I really hope she can straighten out her issues and find happiness. She's always seemed like a cool person, under all her insecurities and problems.

Paula was my first ever girl-crush. I think Forever Your Girl was one of the first cassette tapes I ever bought on my own. She was my idol because I was a dancer and I wanted to be just like her. I had pictures of her covering my bedroom walls. I think my parents were kind of concerned about my obsession for a while!
I still think the video for "Straight Up" is a masterpiece. She is an absolutely amazing choreographer.
Paula, even though you're a fruit loop, I'll always think of you fondly...

On the heels of this high as a kite bizarre TV appearance comes the announcement that Bravo's doing a reality show with Pauler: Tune in to watch the train actually wreck!

Oh man, somethings really weird. Maybe Paula has Bells Palsy, which paralyses the facial muscles, and leads to slurring and stuff...
Or maybe shes on drugs. If I was her, I'd claim Bells Palsy after watching that clip. YIKES.
