I like him much better doing drama than comedy, unless it's dramedy like Good Morning Vietnam.
Why is everyone in Hollywood suddenly relapsing? Must be investigated.

He's totally hot, with his cheeky British ass. Ohhh... Rob in Williams. Uh... he has really hairy arms. That's about all I have. Heee, good to know I'm not the only one who at first misread it as Robbie as well. Now Robin, there are moments where he's funny and too many where he's just too much and all you want is an off-button. Mrs. Doubtfire still amuses me today, but anything after that? Well, haven't exactly paid much attention so I don't know.

Some of comedies are grating, but he's a fantastic actor. Moscow on the Hudson and Awakenings are two of my favorite movies.
I've always heard that he's a major coke fiend but yet also extreme nice and courteous and to the "little people," even after he became a major star. One of those guys who pals around with the crew and talks with the extras, etc. He's never gotten the "asshole cokehead" label and like others have said he genuinely seems to do a lot for chairty and be lowkey, so I hope he gets help because it seems like he generally needs and wants it.

He was a customer at a video store I used to work at, and was always very nice.
It's a shame he had a relapse, but at least he didn't go batshit crazy like Mel Gibson.

I will love him forever for two things: First, some very sweet memories of a summer spent on my grandparents' farm, when my brother and I would walk out behind the barn after supper to close up the chicken house and toke up, then head back to the house and watch TV with the grandparents. Let me tell you, under those circumstances it doesn't get any better than "Mork & Mindy."
Second, "The World According to Garp." Nobody else could have done that role justice.
I sincerely hope for the best for him in rehab. Be well, Robin.

Comedically I havent really liked a movie of his since Mrs.Doubtfire, although I did think Death to Smoochy had its moments. However, dramatically he can still be quite brilliant. I just saw "The Night Listener" and hes wonderful in it. And I still like his talk show interviews.
I'm glad hes getting help and hope it works out for him.

I love him. I never watch his sappy movies though, so it's relatively easy for my love to remain intact! I once saw him do stand up live at this club in Sydney and he was so funny. Like rolling on the ground, tears coming out of my eyes, crude rude funny. And there was some guy heckling him in the audience and Robin just shot him down perfectly.

I just saw "The Night Listener" and hes wonderful in it. And I still like his talk show interviews. I heard his recent interview on Fresh Air and thought he came off well. He occasionally slipped into his schtick, but for the most part he was interesting and sounded intelligent. Terry Gross admitted that she was afraid he'd be impossible to interview.

It was nice of Williams to take in Christopher Reeve's son, I never heard the two were that close. Hopefully the young man is coping well, and good for Robin Williams for recognizing he has a problem. I'm with you all in that it's refreshing to see a celeb own up to their problems before they make a huge ass mistake.

I think Robin and Christopher were classmates at Julliard and stayed close.
