But sometimes there doesn't need to be a reason (at least one that makes sense to any of us). People are scrambling to "blame" the suicide on something, but that's not always the case. A disturbed mind can take even the smallest thing and make it suicide worthy. We really have no idea what he was thinking, feeling, or why. I think too many people want an "ahh ha!" moment, and maybe he was just ill. Although I am still curious about a note - no one has said definitively that there wasn't one.

Re a note: I'm not sure I want to know any more details than I already do. It's so sad, and we're all taking it so personally, but the actual person and family involved deserve their privacy as would anyone else.

I don't want to know as much as I do, if there is a note I hope it's contents are never released.

Letterman was on vacation last week, so did his tribute to Robin Williams last night - it was really sweet - for being a curmudgeon, Dave is always surprisingly good at the emotional stuff. It made me tear up all over again at the end. So sad.

I haven't watched the Letterman clip yet, but I've been wondering how Jon Stewart will address RW on his show. They were in Death to Smoochy together, which is a movie I feel like he brings up and jokes about all the time.

I've also been wondering if they're going to do anything for him at the Emmys on Monday.

I don't remember off the top of my head, but it came up when I googled "Robin Williams Emmy" trying to figure out how many he'd won.
