YES!
OT: But that's the same reason why I like Paul Rudd. Those last few moments of 40 Year-Old Virgin clinched my life-long admiration.

Just about every picture I've seen of this guy as an adult screams "Do me!" (Is it just me? Oops, sorry!) Word em up! He's totally grown into his (crossover) sex appeal. No more lingering Doogie Howser memories. Sooo glad his career has skyrocketed post-douchebag Perez Hilton outing. Those pix of him on ONTD are hot (wish I could d/l).

I love NPH so much; I have a major crush on him. He's incredibly talented and makes HIMYM. I just watched the second Harold and Kumar movie and he was just as awesome as he was in the first.
That OUT interview was great, too.

Is it wrong to have such a raging crush on an openly-gay actor? I was never a Doogie fan, but man, everything he's done since has been freakin' awesome, and Dr. Horrible was MAGIC. He's quickly bypassed David Hasselhoff and even William Shatner to read Adam West levels of self-parody. Hunter, we need him for the posse! If your people recruit, can't you get him? Please?! Well, you have a raging crush on me, don'tcha? The Doogie shoutout on HIMYM was indeed awesome self-parody. I'll try to recruit him for your evil army of gays but try to keep certain people (ahem, Robert, ahem) in check so you don't scare him off. The Barney-Robin kiss is here but if you can find it, I highly recommend watching the full episode (3x16 - "Sandcastles in the Sand") for the genius of a washed-up Van Der Beek and a 2nd Robin Sparkles episode. Oddly enough, CBS has been rerunning the 1st and 2nd seasons this summer, but not the recent 3rd one. And is incorrectly listing episodes from S2 as being from S3 on Hulu and their website. Huh? I gave up on Entourage long ago but since I become more and more convinced daily that Piven is playing himself, I really do think NPH is much more deserving of awards-recognition. Barney is just so...so...well, legen - WAIT FOR IT - dairy. It's a role that could've been overly smarmy or cheesy by someone else and isn't that deep on the page but he just fucking owns it. Alrighty, this picture just screams "do me." If you're going to watch Sandcastles in the Sand, you should watch Slapbet first. Gotta do the thing right. I LOVED NPH on Million Dollar Password. Rachael Ray looked like such a chump next to NPH. And as someone who loves game shows and aspires to be on one someday, his appearance on that show endeared him to me even more! (As if that were possible.)

I thought he was funny in Harold and Kumar, but I never really thought much about him after that. And then I watched Dr. Horrible, and now I am in love in the worst way. I have got to start watching HIMYM.

To that list I would add "unafraid to make himself look like a dork in the pursuit of a laugh." Gotta love a guy who can laugh at himself. I agree. It's that laugh-at-yourself quality that can make someone totally wonderful. Welcome to my world, sister. BTW, love your avatar!

I have great respect for him. And lust, of course. IMO and lot of closeted actors should use NPH as a model. You can still be gay and play a hetro in movies and tv. Maybe I'm just wearing rose colored glasses.

I think I love that his attitude is "yes I'm gay...and...?" You can still believe him in hetero roles--he's honest.
Seriously though--I just love that he's unabashedly a nerd. Or at least he's good at playing them. As a dork--I gotta appreciate it when my people are represented.
