India7, I LOVE "One More Minute"! And I adore Weird Al. Absolutely adore him. I love that I can listen to "Eat It" and "Fat" and still get that nostalgic feeling from when I was six and Pedo was actually still cool. That's so sad about his parents dying. Didn't he used to bring them out on stage sometimes? So sad. He seems like such a nice guy, really down to earth and easy-going.

I{heart} Al.
He's one of those people with such a unique talent (in the way of Bob Ross and Steve Irwin: eccentric, but pleasant) that has such a distinct personality and style. The best thing about him is that he never feels he has to be lewd to make jokes.
Oh...and if I ever get the guts to bust out some Karaoke...I am TOTALLY singing "UHF".

I have photos of two of my friends eating those Twinkie weiner sandwich things from UHF. I have very weird friends.
Bad Hair Day was one of the staples of my 8th grade year, along with Space Ghost's Musical Barbeque. Oohh, and in another tenuous Weird Al/Cartoon Network connection, I think Al was a guest voice on an episode of The Brak Show.

If I need a giggle, all I have to do is THINK "Harvey the Wonder Hamster" and there you go.
I thought AlTV was some of the funniest shit ever in high school.

Just wanted to let everyone know the video for White 'N Nerdy is up at YouTube, and I cannot stop watching it.
WAY has a vaguely Mo Rocca thing happening with the glasses, and although I've never found him terribly attractive, this look is almost cute.

^^ I've seen that video as well and if finally hit me... I've out-grown the pop culture references Weird Al makes because I have NO idea what song he's making a parody of.... the video is hilarious, just no clue! Gah... I'm getting old... damn you Weird Al, Damn you!

Just thinking about Al doing the Freddie Mercury "heeeeeyyyy" near the end of "Another One Rides the Bus" cracks me up. I'd love to see Al in concert. My sister saw him once and said he put on a great show. A friend and I once shared an elevator with Al and his wife at the Arclight Theatres, but I was too overcome with shyness/geekiness to say anything to him. He and his wife were really cute together, though. Remember when Coolio threw a hissy fit after "Amish Paradise"? What a baby. Where the hell is he now?? Coolio needed to STFU, since (IMO) "Gangsta's Paradise" owed its hit status to borrowing its hook from Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise".

You need to go to Yahoo video and look up Chamillionaire, and watch his "Ridin'" video. Than watch the Al version and you'll see the similarities. One of the things I love about Al is his apparent ability to maintain long-term friendships in a business that discourages them, like the fact that John "Bermuda" Schwartz is still doing his beats, decades after he used his briefcase as a bongo on 'Another One Rides The Bus". And I was going to make my point by pulling old and new pictures of WAY with Dr. Demento... But than I found this picture, and it was just such a what-the-fuck that I had to link it. Anyone have a clue why he'd be dressed like that? Edited to add: Nevermind. It appears Al has dressed up as a multitude of strange characters, so that one is not so weird now after looking through his gallery on his home page. I still think Al looks like a more credible white rapper than K-Fed.

Just an FYI - "Straight Outta Lynwood" will be debuting at #10 on the Billboard Album Charts this week. The video is currently #1 on VH1, and MTV has picked it up, too (who knew they still did videos?). It's at #10 in Amazon.com sales and "White & Nerdy" is the #4 download on iTunes.
This is the highest ranked Al release, ever.
Please, encourage all of your friends to go buy this CD.
