I love the song. I can see why people think that Robin Thicke is hot, really I can, but I look at him and all I see is his dad. The Dad Jason Seaver thing, it ruins the hot. I'm glad someone else said it! I feel the same way, too. And the video ruined the song for me as well. Not to mention Robin's take on the X-rated version. That's such bullshit! I didn't mind the nudity, per se...but it would have been a lot more going for it if the guys were a little more scantily clad, too. It was basically just a second take of the original video, minus the women's tops. Odd.

Glad I'm not the only one that can't stand the video. He shouldn't really try to defend the type of video they did, because he just digs a bigger hole for himself.

I love this song! I can't comment on the video since I haven't watched it & have no desire to do so. I actually like Robin's personality based on his appearances on "Watch What Happens" on Bravo. He is funny & does a perfect impression of his dad. I love that show because the guest's personalities are shown & you can tell who is having fun & who doesn't want to participate in Andy's shenanigans.

Good song but the video is pure sleaze.

Can the public handle JT & Robin Thicke in the same room, let alone on the same stage at the same time?!?! Last night, they were both present at the El Ray in Los Angeles promoting Myspace's (Seriously, JT? Is MySpace going to ever be relevant again?) Launch Party. JT posted pictures of him & Robin, w/ Pharrell), ironically on Facebook.

Good song but the video is pure sleaze. The parody is pretty funny!

Hee. But see, even they were able to have a "bed scene" with both the guy and gal together and he wasn't wearing anything but underwear. If this parody is the "dirty version", why are the men wearing jock straps? ;-) ETA: Crap! There are TONS of parodies of this! HAHA!

I always wonder how he feels about his dad dating a 17-year-old Kristy Swanson when his Dad was in his 40's. Robin would have been in grade school. But it was Hollywood so maybe it was nothing to him.

I'm sorry Sadie, but what?!? That is an odd pairing.
I'm loving the song. Basically, you want a summer hit, get Pharrel on it.

But it was Hollywood so maybe it was nothing to him. Alan Thicke did this? Gross. Anyhoo, Robin probably thought it was great. I saw a snippet of an interview on YouTube (Chelsea Lately, IIRC) where Thicke fils spoke proudly of how much beauty queen tail his father got when Thicke pere signed up for a bunch of pageant hosting gigs back in the day. Many of those candidates probably weren't much older than Swanson at the time, although they were probably at least 18.
