No, that's legitimately obnoxious, Aurora.
This thread is really validating my childhood decision to name my Cabbage Patch Kid Francesca for the sole purpose of being able to call her Frankie for short (which I picked up from the early 90s TV show, Sisters). Ahhhh, sweet, sweet validation...

Sounds like a boy's name to me. I saw a commercial for a new movie with her and Adam Sandler and thought "Surely she lives comfortably enough that she doesn't have to keep making these cringe-worthy films."

I don't know why Taylor Swift hasn't befriended Drew yet. They would be perfect BFF's! They can sit around and talk about hearts, sunshine, posies and boys!

I loved that show. The chemistry among the leads was so great that it made it easy to ignore the fact that they looked nothing like sisters.
I wonder if she will consider doing a TV series given her expanded family. I can imagine her on a "Gilmore Girls" type show.

I am an unapologetic Adam Sandler movie lover and I especially like his collaborations with Drew. I'm sure I'll be there opening weekend. (Hey, I never said I was cool). Plus I know someone who worked on it and had an amazing experience in South Africa. Said everyone was really lovely.

Just popped in to say that I've been seeing more ads for 'Blended' and I crack up every time the kid sings "This t-shirt's on fire!" to the tune of the Alicia Keys song.

Half-Sister Found Dead in apparent suicide. I swear we only seem to post really happy news about Drew or really sad news about Drew.

Sounds like they were estranged which doesn't mean it's still not hard. The half-sister was only 47. So sad.
I've always been a big Drew Barrymore fan. She's overcome a lot and just seems very down to earth and very genuine.

I swear we only seem to post really happy news about Drew or really sad news about Drew. Ah, the life of a Barrymore. I just hope that going forward it'll just be happy or neutral news. She really has overcome so much and is not burned by it. She really deserves every happiness. It's so sad about her sister. Even though they only met once, it's still hard to hear the loss of anyone to drugs or depression. I'm sure that Drew can relate to this. I guess Jessica Barrymore was to turn 48 tomorrow? I don't know anything about her, but it seems that upcoming birthdays and evaluating one's life can take its toll if you're in a dark place already. RIP
