Kiki's winning the red carpet. The Gucci dress is a real standout.

I agree. She has had the best dresses. I love the 50's style yellow the best. Maybe I'm not reading the right blogs but I am hardly seeing her on any of the best dressed lists.

Oh yes, I love that yellow dress on her.
So often I find her red carpet looks to be ill-fitting, but that one looks like it has impeccable tailoring and is SO flattering.

I normally really like Kirsten's style, but it's hard to get excited about a black dress unless it's really spectacular and that one doesn't do it for me. That sheer below the thigh thing has been done to death.

Yeah, I agree. I think if it had been lined and the beading continued all the way down it could've been pretty great, but as it is: meh.

Here's hoping their marriage turns out better than Peggy & Ed's.

Wait whaaaat?! When did she and Garrett Hedlund breakup? I've grown to like her over the years, so I hope this works out.

Can I just jump in here for a second and say how much I liked her performance in "Hidden Figures?" She really seemed to nail the part of early 1960s uptight white lady in a way that JJ never seemed to on "Mad Men."
As the movie went on she really did a wonderful job hinting at a hidden (repressed?) depth of the character that was emphatically not allowed to show at work.
It gave me the same sense of awe I felt when I saw "Interview with a Vampire" in the theatre, and saw her at what 10? 12? and thinking what a fine actress she was already.
As Traffic and I discussed on the way out of the movie, what would the narrative be if the white lady gets a best supporting nod in a movie centered on women pf color, after the cries of whitewashing in Hollywood last year? Cries I echo and agree with, for the record.
I just really thought she was excellent in the film, and wanted to say so.
