I think that's really sweet.

I could understand Brad's concerns about his kids' privacy if they weren't allowing People to do photo spreads and talking about them in every single interview. It strikes me as extremely hypocritical and IMO only creates more public demand for photos and info. They can't have it both ways. All he's annoyed about, though, is when the cameras get right up in the kids' faces, yelling their names. I see that as far different than talking about the kids or even allowing photo spreads. Not to mention, if they kept the kids under lock and key, that's what would create the demand, not the other way around.

I remember a few years ago, when they were living in their Malibu home, one night Brad looked out their living room window and there was a pap, with camera in hand, all ready to take a picture. Brad tried to chase him down and the Sheriff's were called. They were forced to take the stairs that led to the beach down. I remember thinking, what if their kids had been awake and saw that. That would have scared the crap out of them.
E! network, when they were in India filming AMH, trespassed on their property for a show they were doing on them. E! fired the producer and crew and yet, can't figure out why Brad and Angelina, might have a problem with their network.
They have to deal with a lot of b.s. that none of us will ever have a clue about what it's like.

They have to deal with a lot of b.s. that none of us will ever have a clue about what it's like. Yeah, but I don't have a lot of sympathy for them. Brad and Angie, I mean. Their kids are a different story because they didn't ask for any of this. But as far as Brad and Angelina are concerned, with that sort of b.s. -- for which they have to take a good degree of responsibility, IMO -- also comes great privilege and luxury. So while most of us will never know the sort of harrassment they go through, we will also not know the great privilege and luxuries they have, either.

Are there any plans for his Jesse James movie to have a full release? I think I read there's Oscar buzz for both him and Casey Affleck.

Re: celebrity babies and paparrazzi
Do pictures of celebrity babies actually sell/move magazines? Just wondering, because I have no desire to buy a magazine with a kid either inside or outside the cover.
I saw Suri on the cover of US magazine, and while I did marvel over how cute the kid was, I still had no interest in buying it. I'm scared now that all of these celebrity/entertainment magazines are going to be inundated with features on little kids; I want to see articles on actual celebrities, darnit.
The interest in celebrities is understandable; I don't really get the interest in the children unless they're royal kids or really good-looking kids of leaders.
Back to Angelina and Brad....I never really understood why they did the America's Most Beautiful Family Spread. Yeah, they're a nice looking family, I guess, but I think they've put unneccesary pressure on that baby to be goodlooking. I doubt she'll grow up homely but what if there's the outside chance she grows up looking like Rumour Willis? If she doesn't meet everyone's subjective standards, she'll probably l never be able to live down that whole most beautiful kid label. Okay, she probably has nothing to worry about and I joke about the pressures resulting from being on that cover but I'd be reluctant to sell my family as the most beautiful thing ever even if I looked like Angelina or had a husband who looked like Brad.
Edited to add: Never mind about the America's Most Beautiful Family thing. I don't think Shiloh was anywhere in the magazine. I think it was just a pregnant Angelina and Brad. I never bought the magazine. Just one mention about kids and I lost interest in reading about them. I like to read about these celebrities directly; not really about their children.
I guess Suri might be a bit of a curiosity for me because I don't understand how that engineered-kid looks so much like Katie and is beginning to look like Tom even though I doubt they conceived the child together.

STFU, Brad. Poor Europe, they have taken in too many of our pretentious asshats - Madonna, Gwyneth and now Brad/Angelina. Dlisted[/color]

Please god, don't hate me but the first thing I think of when people say they need to carve out time for their kids is maybe they "shouldn't" have kids. And it's not like they have very demanding jobs, working everyday 9 to 5, you know. I can't fathom why they would be pressed for time.

I just love how he makes Europe (southern Europe here) seem like paradise away from the rest of the uncivilized western world. I guess money, fame, and power really do isolate you from the realities of everyday life. Maybe Brad if you picked up a newspaper, or actually lived the life of the everyday French man, Spaniard, or Italian you'd see what life is really like.
