I saw Once Upon a Time recently, and I feel that Pitt is serviceable in it. He also seems to be playing another variation on Brad Pitt. I am not sure why he got so much awards traction out of this role.

Just saw Brad’s Dr. Fauci bit. I laughed. And I was also really impressed with the fact that, when he removed the wig and hairnet to get serious, he did not ruffle his hair at all. That’s confidence—keeping that slicked back mess on camera!

I laughed too! It was at the cotton swap/tickle your brain line. I thought he did a good job and was happy that he was the one chosen to publicly that Dr Fauci on our behalf on national tv.

Really liked the skit! I thought he had some really funny lines ("A miracle would be great--but it shouldn't be Plan A. Even Sully tried to land at the airport first.") and loved when he broke character to thank Fauci and all the healthcare workers.

I loved it. But I also want Dr. Fauci to get less positive attention so that our erstwhile president doesn't fire him in a fit of jealousy.

I loved it. But I also want Dr. Fauci to get less positive attention so that our erstwhile president doesn't fire him in a fit of jealousy. Now, now--Trump was represented well by Alec Baldwin last night, defending himself from all the disinfectant misinformation. I'm sure the president was pleased that the SNL cast and staff understood what he was trying to say, even if most of us apparently didn't...

I heard/read somewhere that Dr. Fauci was asked, "Who do you want to play you in the movie?" and he jokingly said, "Brad Pitt." I'm glad he put that out there in the world and that it (sort of) came true.
I thought Brad did a good job of capturing his accent and mannerisms.
And I'm enjoying the online arguments over who is hotter, with Fauci winning.

Anthony Fauci is 79 years old. Brad should pray to every god there is that he looks that good at Fauci's age.
