Oh wow, they do! And they had their little dog, too. I don't know if Grace and Rainier would have disapproved. From what I've read, they probably both would have been more comfy in an era of relaxed sexual mores. They just looked classier in the pre-internet era, but I might be wrong. Yep, by many accounts, Grace's pre-marital behaviour belied her cool, ice-queen looks. She reportedly had affairs with all of her leading men and didn't give a damn whether they were married or not (William Holden, Ray Milland, David Niven, etc). Some claimed she was a nymphomaniac. Post-marriage, she reportedly bedded her bridesmaid's husband! She and Rainier were both reported to have had several affairs during the marriage. She probably would have preferred it if her children's liaisons were kept more low-key, but all of Hollywood seems to have known about her when it was all happening. She just had the benefit of not being raised in the internet era. |

All the kids are in long-term relationships so I don't see anything too trashy about their behavior. They seem more real and messy and less controlled aka fairy tale than the Brits. That said...I wish the newlyweds and new parents a long and happy life.

It's not as if the Monaco royals are known for a strong work ethic. Andrea's father was nicknamed "Fancazzista," which means "he doesn't do a fucking thing." Still, Stefano Casiraghi sounds like he was a much more pleasant person than Caroline's first and third husbands, neither of whom have ever done much with their lives.
I guess I'm just hoping that these newlyweds are happy and avoid stupid Eurotrash scandals.
