I kinda dug this movie. This probably isn't a popular opinion but I thought Cillian Murphy was dead sexy, even with the whole, y'know, psycho thing. He and Rachel McAdams made this one pretty movie, and what else can you ask for? My only tiff was that we didn't get to know anything about Jackson whatsoever. I think he probably has a really interesting backstory. Oh, and I loved the girl at the hotel who was in charge for the night. She was adorable.

But what the hell was Colby from Survivor doing there?

Saw this yesterday with my kids and loved it. Edge of your seat, sweaty palms, good fun.

A few comments. Yes! what up with Colby?? talk about a distracting 'cameo'.

And Brian Cox.....he's lost so much weight and dyed his hair dark. Looks awful!! Brian, sweatheart, I love you pudgey and grey!

I thought it had its moments; I was actually really frightened during parts of it. Also, Cillian Murphy's insanely blue eyes are quite helpful in making him look alternately handsome and like a complete psycho. Some moments, however, were unintentionally funny. When Rachel McAdams suddenly, inexplicably gets bad ass and head-butts C.M.? Comedy gold. My fellow theater patrons seemed to totally buy it, though, and didn't look as if they appreciated my derisive cackling. Oh well.

Loved it. I also really admired the way Wes didn't give in to common cliches (like during the chase scene at the end) and how Lisa kicked ass. It really stressed me out thinking about how I would act in Lisa's situation and what I would do to alert someone on the plane. The only thing I would've done different is ]write on the mirror, "Call [my dad's name and number] and tell him to 'get out of the house!"'

I really kinda dug it. But was also completely distracted by Colby Donaldson and I've never watched "Survivor." So random. I mean, yeah, he sorta has that generic stoic look about him but could have been therefore played by any generic stoic actor.

Sigh...this movie is not helping my inappropriate lust for my therapist, who looks like my first crush + CM minus the evil.

The actress who was the hotel clerk was really cute and funny -- apparently this is Jayma Mays's (?) feature debut. She appeared on "Entourage," but I can't remember her for the life of me.

Ha! My galpal Krystal kept asking "are they going to have sex now?" to the point where she was convinced (i.e. desperately wanted) Cillian accosting her in the bathroom was to join the mile-high-club.

Now she's decided to lie and say the sex scene was amazing and is telling her friends about it, saying that they do it before he turns evil. Which would be pretty darn interesting, actually. I just hold on to the hope that they did it offscreen.
