I'd list some of my favourite quotes, but I have to return some videotapes.

Do you need to have lived through the 80s (and the greedy-scumbag investment bankers who thrived then) -- or watched Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room -- to find this movie wildly hilarious? My younger-than-me BF just looks at me while I'm giggling at the testosterone-fuelled Business Card Wars scene. Or maybe it's because he's never needed to run home and shower after shaking hands with one of them.

No, she played Courtney, Evelyn's pill-popping best friend whom Bateman was screwing on the side. (Bateman/Batman- heh) Courtney was engaged to Lewis Carruthers, the dorky guy who later hit on Bateman in the bathroom. When I saw Matt Ross in "Big Love" as Alby I was racking my brain until I realized that he played Lewis in AP.

I loved it when they went to dinner with Evelyn's artist cousin and her boyfriend Stash. The Robert Smith lookalikes at the table with the suits was a nice visual of diametrically opposite parts of mid-80's culture.
