She must be truly sucking on Melrose Place because this sounds like he is laying the groundwork for her exit after year one, if it isn't cancelled before then, so Ashlee can focus on her "music career" full time.
An album will never materialize because everyone will have forgotten by then but it gives her a couple more minutes in the headlines...until her divorce.

Well, I love me some Ella, but no Auggie, no MP for me. Sucks for Asslee though.

Oh. That surprises me. I didn't think she was that bad. She seemed at the same level as everyone else. And anyone on the Melrose thread knows how much I hate Dr. Prostitute. Ashlee wasn't the one bugging me.
I'm surprised they'd let Auggie too. I have no strong feelings on him but I got the impression people liked him.

I don't buy the "we always knew her storyline would end" excuse. She sucked, they fired her, end of story. If the producers and/or viewers liked her, they'd find a way to keep her on the show. Heather Locklear was a "special guest star" on the original for eight freaking years!
I can't stand either one of the Simp sisters, so this news just delights me. Shadenfreudelicious!

I kinda feel sorry for her. Pete is successful at pretty much everything he attempts and she is...not.

Heather Locklear was a "special guest star" on the original for eight freaking years! My mom used to watch the original Melrose Place, and I always wondered about the Heather Locklear thing. Eight years, though? That's hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised if Ashlee's next move is to get pregnant again. She'll probably claim that the firing was a blessing in disguise, since it gave her the opportunity to focus on her family. She may even say that the difficulty of being a working mother prevented her from focusing fully on her MP role, and that it was a learning experience for her. If she plays this right, she might be able to save face and move on to other opportunities ... not that anybody is truly interested in seeing or hearing her.

I have to agree. I actually think she's pretty, but I think the sooner she goes away the better.

I don't feel sorry for her at all. She reminds me of one of these over-confident, clueless people at an American Idol audition who is shocked when they don't get through. "Everybody told me I could sing!" Simon Cowell: "No, you are terrible, go home and find another profession." She is NOT TALENTED.
