wow, I didn't think I would see a film in 2005 worse than Serenity, but I actually managed to do it! The Producers makes a turd like Serenity look like Citizen Kane.
Horrible, horrible film...horrible acting all across the board (stagey and forced) , horrible songs, horrible unfunny "jokes" and not a single moment of spark, wit or fun.
Definitely the worst film I have seen this year.

Hey all,
I was meaning to see this at the movies, but it came and went so fast! I just read it only made 15 million! OUCH
What happened???
I saw the original movie, which I love and the Broadway show, which was hysterical, one of the best I've seen.
How could you go wrong with such a sure thing??

Kind of like how you can go right with a musical about Hitler. Heh.

I prolly won't get to see this, but at least Uma looks delicious in the blue gown. Marrone.

I just saw it last night. I didn't especially like it. Two of the people I saw it with are gay men and they weren't all that amused at the whole "let's laugh at the funny gay people."

I agree with complaints about the "staginess" of the production. It's jarring to people who aren't used to seeing it. However, I will say that Jai Rodriguez's cameo was just about the best thing I've seen all month! My friend and I laughed our heads off.
