Discuss.

TTMR and I actually this in Australia a couple of weeks ago. It was quite good -- very entertaining.

I completely agree with the 100% it gets at rottentomatoes. How can you not like Wallace & Grommit? They are just too cute and its a movie which appeals to adults and children alike.

So many cute bunnies, indeed. And they float around! How is it Nick Park gets a better performance from a dog made out of clay than most directors get out of humans?

Seriously. If Gromit was human, or real for that matter, he should be handed an Emmy.
That said, nearly everyone in the audience I was viewing with gave a big "Aww!" when <<Gromit was thrown into his prize squash (that's what it was, right).>> Poor little fella.

I thought this movie was quite good...not only an homage to old-time horror movies, but also to old cartoons.
(Did anyone else think that the ending was kinda a ...reference to Death of the Incredible Hulk?)
The other oddly amusing thing to me was the playing of "Bright Eyes" on the radio. (Don't think that's a spoiler, but I'm trying to err on the side of politeness)
Hehehe, I'm such a nerd.
Oh...and did anyone catch the ASPCA disclaimer at the end...so cute!
And...while I'm thinking about it...the priest is going through the book, did anyone catch the subtitles on the various beasts?
And and and...Ralph Fiennes!

This movie is going to make so. Much. Money. Kids' movies make a lot of money anyway, and this is something that adults will enjoy seeing, maybe two or three times, so they won't mind taking their kids to see it on rainy afternoons. And then there's word of mouth, too, because it's the kind of movie that's so good you have to tell other people about it. I, for one, loved it, especially the vicar and the bulldog's change purse. That said, nearly everyone in the audience I was viewing with gave a big "Aww!" when << Gromit was thrown into his prize squash (that's what it was, right).>> Poor little fella. Same thing happened when I saw it! Also people applauded at the end and said "aww" when the bunnies touched noses.

I tried to catch them, but I don't remember specific names - just that they were very Looney-Tunesish. The were-rabbit was something like "Eatus Enormous Carrotsus".
Oh, and by the way - "Kiss my arrrrtichoke!"

Hee. This movie was great. The 'dogfight' was brilliant.
