I believe Depp fessed up to being a sh*t and impossible to be with, something about a project he worked on not getting the acclaim he was entitled to. He smashed and smashed and she cried and cried and I don't know who actually pulled the plug but he rather owned up to being the party responsible.

Over at FT, someone once posted that Johnny was considering getting back together with Kate when he got Vanessa pregnant. Supposedly he was only dating Vanessa casually but had Kate on his mind. This was at the point when Kate was in rehab. There might be some truth to the story because I do remember seeing photos of a brand new BMW with a bow on top that Johnny had delivered to Kate at the rehab centre. Once Vanessa was pregnant though Johnny wanted to stick by her and Kate wasn't interested in reconciling once she discovered that he had been impregnating other women while they were on "a break." Who knows?

All I can say with certainty is that Pete Doherty is fugly.

I don't know who actually pulled the plug but he rather owned up to being the party responsible.

I've heard him fessing up and he says things like, "She was too good for me". Very gentlemanly of him, but I don't think that's an accurate explanation of what happened. He has said it was his fault because he got too wrapped up in work and didn't pay enough attention to Kate, but I took that to mean he wasn't out partying with her every night like she wanted. I read an interview with Kate when they were dating and she was complaining that things were fine when they weren't working because they could have friends over every night, but when he was working, she had nothing to do all day by herself and the best he could come up with was, "Why don't you go shopping?"

OMG, poor Kate! Being expected to actually, you know, entertain herself or keep herself busy. No wonder she's hooked up with a guy who doesn't seem to actually do anything apart from party and get high.

I hope her ex gets custody of their daughter. The kid needs a stable background, not Pete 'n' Kate and their junkie friends in a haze of drugs.

Ha! And just as fugly. Why does he always look so disheveled and sweaty all the time? I'd need to be high too to knock boots with that guy. It must gross and very icky.

I think he looks disheveleved and sweaty because he is a major drug addict. He looks to me like he would have been perfectly cast in Trainspotting.
