I absolutely will not see this movie now that I know it's about dogs. Even without reading MiniMelly's spoiler, I have an idea of what could happen. I still have not recovered from seeing My Dog Skip years ago and just cannot endure that again.
I'm such a wimp!

I saw it and I really liked it! The bad stuff is not that hard to watch and there's not even a lot of it to have to endure, but if you had a problem with My Dog Skip, then this is probably not the movie for you. Since I was spoiled going into it, I knew what to expect and when, so it was much easier to take.
That said, however, it really is a movie that most dog lovers will enjoy. The second half of the movie shows the dogs on their own and the aesthetic really reminded me of The Bear. The movie didn't seem too cloyingly Disney and even Paul Walker was decent in his role.

A little behind the times, I know, but I saw this today. It was all right. I have to disagree that Paul Walker was good. He was OK, but pretty wooden. He did manage to convey how strongly he was attached to the dogs though. Jason Biggs was annoying as hell. I wanted to punch him every time he was on screen.
The dogs were great and the scenery was great. Of course I cried -- it's sweet animals in danger.
