What a pleasant surprise this film turned out to be. Pierce Brosnan was absolutely wonderful playing an aging hit man and Greg Kinnear was hilarious as the Denver businessman getting in over his head.
The dialogue was smart and the storyline had enough twists and turns to keep it interesting.
My friends and I were craving a trip to Mexico and margaritas when it was over.

Saw this on Saturday. I totally thought that Hope Davis was Marie Chantal of Greece. Really! I have no idea who Hope Davis is, but she and CPMCoG look a lot alike.

I'd really like to see this. I have to hope that deadduck and I get a chance to head to the movies before it's out of the theatre.

I saw it a few days ago and enjoyed it. Pierce Brosnan's character is sleazy, unpleasant and thoroughly unlikeable and yet...strangely appealing at the same time. Very good dark comedy, which is my favourite kind (when it's done well). I normally don't really care for Greg Kinnear, because he just seems so middle-of-the-road, but that's precisely how his character is supposed to be in this movie, so it worked perfectly.

I really want to see this movie. Unfortunately, it's not playing anywhere near my area.

Pierce Brosnan made me squirm like a motherfucker during this movie -- very uncomfortable, but it's how his character was supposed to be, so I give him lots of credit for a job well done. Greg Kinnear was pretty damn funny as well.
What I liked best about this movie was how you had an archetypal straight-shootin' American and jaded European, and the movie completely took your expectations about those archetypes and played around with them -- without being too hip or crazy or over-the-top about it.
Neat little movie. I, too, was massively jonesing for a margarita afterwards.
