Love Scarlett, Aaron and Mia, Hilary is great (and not so annoying) in the right role, and it looks like Josh Hartnett will actually be doing REAL acting! Looks absolutely amazing! I got chills.

I love Mia Kirshner (she's easily the best thing about the L Word even if most people hate her character)and the storyline looks interesting so I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Oh gosh, I squealed in my chair watching that trailer. I only thought the Ellroy book was ok, but I was still obsessed with the Black Dahlia story for a month or so. I can't believe I'm excited for a Josh Hartnett movie.

Meh. I loved LA Confidential and the Black Dahila story is fascinating, but I think the cast is terrible, at least judging by the trailer. Josh Hartnett simply can't act. Scarlett pouts. Aaron Eckhart didn't have a single word of dialogue in the trailer (?!) and Swank is horribly miscast as a femme fatale. The only one who looks interesting is Mia, she completely gave me the creeps, which is cool but not enough for me to go see it.

I do agree that Swank seems a bit miscast from the movie. She's the only one I didn't like.
