Okay so at times he could use a bath but damn boy is hot. I finally saw Home at the end of the world and it made me cry. I know alot of people think he cannot act but I dare them to watch it and then say that.

Huntsy!!!! My Colin lovin' friend! I swear you were making this thread the same moment I was searching for it. Dublingrl and Huntsy reunited on the Colin Farrell thread. Good times abound.
Isn't A Home at the End of the World a lovely movie? I love the scene where they are dancing on the porch. I thought his performance was uneven in parts, but he had some wonderful scenes as well.
The book btw is wonderful. As usual even better then the movie.

I think Colin is hot sometimes and, uh, greezy-looking at other times. But I don't think he treats women badly and I don't look down on his wild-oats sowing. This isn't because he's male, it's because he isn't a hypocrite or a jerk or a liar about it - he just admits it. He's definitely OK in my book...

Is there a rehab pool thread? Because if there is, he should be at the top of the list. I was watching that (pretty awful) cowboy movie in which he played Jesse James and the difference between that Colin and present day Colin is not good. While he's gotten much better at the American accent, physically he's declined enormously. He looks so much older, bloated, and used. The man isn't 30 and he looks close to 40. And greasy.
I expect him to enter rehab for sex and alcohol addiction in the next ten years. Meanwhile, he'll be destroying his face, his liver, and his health.
It's sad, because I like him as an actor. Also, if he'd clean up, lost the grease and the bloat, he'd be so hot again.

He's had a very low profile lately. I think that's wise. He was becoming famous for all the wrong reasons.

I hate him. Irrationally. I've never seen him in a movie or anything, I just hate him. Something about his face just grates.

Dublingrl , I am so happy to see you. I was worried that we would not be able to find each other after Ft was closed. Whole Wide World was good. That part when he had the first time made me cry. It was intense. Did you see Alexander yet? I think I will wait for a rainy Sunday.

I don't hate him, and while the only thing I've ever seen him in is Daredevil, he was amusing in that (which is more then can be said for the rest of the cast).
I really wish he'd ditch the accent he's using. It's so grating.

{{ Huntsy}} Good to see ya! I was hoping we'd run into each other on one of these Colin threads! I'm so glad you liked A Home at the End of the World It's one of my faves of his. BTW I beat you to Natelies site and started the CF thread over there Velleity Daredevil really is a crapfest movie, isn't it? The only saving grace in it is Colin's hilarious over the top performance. My favorite Colin comment was made regarding that film. He said his sole reason for taking the part was that he knew there would be an action figure of Bullseye. He really fancied the notion of being able to play with himself with reaching down his pants. hehehe.
