I think the maradona pic is a few months old. I remember seeing a similar one over the winter.

He was pretty laughable in Miami Vice, I have to say (and I'd do him now or pre-skeeve). The hair didn't serve him well, and I kept trying to guess at what stage in the "road to rehab" he was in. If he was sweaty in his dress shirts, he was detoxing from painkillers. If he was wearing the ugly shades, he was still drunk. If he was having sex scenes with Gong Li--by his own admission in interviews--he was mere hours away from checking into Promises.

I was just talking about The New World today and reminded myself how amazingly talented this guy is. I thought TNW was an incredibly flawed film but he (and the rest of the cast) was so good in it. With very little actual dialogue, he conveyed so many subtle emotions. It is a shame that he hasn't been able to find more films that showcase his talent (insert your own porn joke).

Ugh, nothing irritates me more than these famewhores who sell their stories of sleeping with celebs, and slamming them at the same time. Why do you need to go there? No dignity or class, these ladies.

I saw a picture of him and his son in US Weekly recently, and after looking at that, as well as other pictures I've seen of his son, I gotta ask is there something wrong with the kid??

Whatever, I'd say it's a "lie down with dogs, get up with fleas" situation. Unless you're totally stupid, you'll realize that one-night stands with women you met three hours before are not likely to result in nice things happening. If you don't want your sexual technique raked over the coals in public, perhaps you shouldn't be sleeping with total strangers.

very true - I don't know if it's better or worse when it's a one night stand or an ex-girlfriend. Yes, you're mad he dumped you for a model, but you're just making yourself look crazy and bitter.

About Colin Farrell's son - he looks very sweet in the few photos I've seen, and I haven't specifically noticed anything wrong with him.

I dunno, I kind of like him. Seems vulnerable and charming at the same time. He was great in The New World. And he was pretty sexy in Miami Vice despite the porn star moutache. I wouldn't want to actually sleep with him, but he's definitely nice to look at. The half-a-baguette reference doesn't surprise me though. I guess he's down on his Irish luck.

I know, ginseng. Against all better judgment, I kind of like him, too. I know I shouldn't, but I just do.

I had TiFauxed Phone Booth and just finished watching it. I was pleasantly surprised. He just makes me think he's a nice, fun guy. He also doesn't seem pretentious in the least. To paraphrase Britney, he is what he is, and he seems upfront about it.

Besides, he was in the movie of one of my favorite books, A Home at The End of the World. I have to like him for that.
