Can't he just call himself Sean? Why must he always be a Daddy or a Diddy? I've always thought the name Sean Combs had a nice sound to it, and seems classy.

I don't know exactly why, but he doesn't bother me that much. I guess I admire success, and can-do attitudes.

I saw a trailer for the remake(WTF?) of Carlito's Way of which this fuckwittage is featured prominently. Good Lord.

He's such a symbolism for the dead black nationalist movement since the M&M assassinations, always keeping the hoi polloi in perpetual identity crisis, because they are never sure of who they are and what they want to be known as. Like the almost dead Civil Rights movement, he still doesn't know what he wants to be called if he ever grows up. Which it didn't, and he hasn't.

One cycle, we're colored and happy about it (Sean Puffy Combs), the next year, we's negroes (Puff Daddy), and so on and so forth (P. Diddy), until the "n" word becomes a term of endearment, until we end up mass-marketed and stereotyped by the dreadful African-American moniker.
