I was just going through some sites and noticed that Fergie, the shamed yet gregarious Duchess of York, could probably rival MC in terms of a "royal" Mom who pimped out her kids for the photogs. There must be THOUSANDS of pics of TRHs Beatrice and Eugenie out there. It was ENDLESS. Even now that the "girls" are grown, they're STILL out there w mom striking a pose. I suppose the only consolation (and her salvation of NOT being lumped in w MC) is that Fergie's girls are REAL princesses unlike MCs spawn.

Fergie seems to drag her daughters around a lot. The main difference seems to be that MC features her kids in a lot of pictorials (i.e. magazine interviews with posed pictures w/ them) while Fergie takes her kids out on the town - especially to movie premieres, it seems.

She said a few months back how she and the older daughter (Beatrice?) liked to go out together to pick up guys. Gross, huh?

I find that disturbing. Fergie seems to have been quite irresponsible as Duchess of York and apparantly she felt her husband didn't make enough to support a "regal lifestyle".

I read she posed for pictures in various women's magazines that ticked of the royal family immensely. Apparantly some people in royal circles said that it looked like a photo shoot that an up and coming Hollywood starlet would participate in. She was also grubbing for as many freebies as she could possibly get. At times she demanded that designers give her free clothing and several refused stating they didn't need the publicity.

Fergie, despite the investigation that must have been done prior to Andrew's marrying her, turned out to have no class whatsoever. The Royal Family was Much Offended by the Vulgar Hoyden that married into it, I'd imagine.

I think she may be a lot of laughs IRL, but not if you want an intelligent/sensible comment from her when the laughing goes into Pause mode for a few minutes.

However, I do give her props for selling her name and title with some skill. She's probably not a bad soul, just another pesky Sleb who has to be fed and watered.

As for her kids? PlainPlainPlain. Seriously Plain. One of them has a dose of her father's Appearance genes to a most unfortunate degree.

I agree. For reasons beyond me people keep insisting they're beautiful. They look stocky. Fergie had no problem shilling for any product that had a fat check waiting for her. Does anyone remember hearing about how her former ah, business manager would demand full control over any and all interviews, not to mention hawking her to the highest bidder? Sickening.

Aw, I think you guys are too rough on her. Sure, she's pretty famewhorish and demanding now, but I imagine it was hell when she first married Andrew, being compared to the lithe and blonde Diana all the time. The press is nasty enough when a celeb is attractive and thin; they were ruthless about her weight. It wasn't enough that they drove Diana to anorexia; Sarah should have followed?

I liked that Andrew - the cute Royal - chose a woman who seemed ballsy and fun and wasn't so concerned about being thin and blonde. Then they all ruined it.

And calling the girls ugly is just cruel. They're kids, for one thing, and can't really help how they look. The few pics I've seen of them, they're nice looking girls. I don't get where the "ugly" comments come from.
