They were not relatives in that one. D'Onofrio plays the main character's father, and Vaughn plays the main character's teacher/debate coach.

I find him repulsive physically but he is moderately amusing in movies. I think he is smart taking a lot of supporting roles or doing ensamble movies so that people dont realize how many movies he is in and wear out his welcome.

As for any of the rumors that I hear about him:
1. that he is gay
2. that he is an assphat

none of them would surprise me.

Well, if he is gay, then Tom Cruise could learn a few straight-acting skills from him. VV has just been in way too many off camera cooch hunting expeditions for years to find that believable.

As for the asshat part, I do believe he can be that, man seems to have a quick temper, but so does my brother and he's a softy at heart.

I've always had the impression with him that anyone who encounters him when he's been drinking is going to say he's a MAJOR asshat. Anyone who encounters him when he's sober, is going to find he's a really nice guy. I know a few people who've met him, and the only negative things I've heard about him were after he'd been drinking - and he was not a nice guy at all.

Steve Buscemi was stabbed in the FACE as a result of this tool's drunken antics. I'll always hate on the Vince for that.

But I do get the feeling that he's a very soft person underneath it all, and that he drinks to hide that and/or deal with it. But whatever. Grow up.
