Unfortunately, it would have to be a gay scandal. Underage girls never seem to bring any kind of schadenfreude whatsoever - R. Kelly being a prime example. Didn't that sicko pee on that girl?

Natalie Portman not getting the Oscar was pretty sweet, even though I think she was third in line to get it after Blanchett and Madsen. I especially liked that she appeared to be wearing a dirty dishrag for a dress.

My favorite case of recent Celebrity Schadenfreude was Ashlee Simpson's screwup on SNL. That still makes me smile.

I think Crashlee should be the patron saint of schadenfreude as everything since then has been comedy gold. Hell, I'm even considering the blurred asscracks in her show to be some divine retribution for sucking so hard.
