Good lord Frances, I had no idea that the tv show was based on an actual book written by an actual man who actually thinks he's funny. I did the "look inside" thing on Amazon to read a part of it and was annoyed.

I hate that whole "Wow, these teenage girls! They're crazy I tell ya! I've got to protect my tiny women!" attitude. Plus, I hate that whole myth that it's easier to raise teenage boys than girls. Stupid man.

Yeah, he's an ass. The older of his two "teenage" daughters (well, 24 years old now) was a childhood playmate of mine. I haven't been in touch with them in years, but he is still one of my dad's friends. I love my dad, but I can't stand the whole Bill O'Reilly watchin', W. votin', protectin' the women folk ways of him and his friends.

You pretty much summed it up there MonsterZero. It really squicks me how much of this stuff boils down to their daughter's virginity somehow 'belonging' to the father. That violating the daughter is somehow violating the dad, since he 'owns' it. Have you heard J Simp's dad talk about it? Blech. BLECH.
