Is it wrong that my very first thought when I heard Johnnie Cochran died was good riddance? OJ killed two people, you motherfucker, and you got him off with lies.

Excuse me, but when was Johney ever on a witness stand? He was a good persuasive lawyer, but he could not present lies. The prosecution would have called him on it.

He presented the obvious lies OJ told as truth.

I realize everyone is entitled to a vigorous defense, etc. but OJ beat his wife and lied about it, had plenty of time to commit the crime that night, and was not picked on because he was black. IMHO, Johnnie Cochran used despicable tactics and overlooked the glaring truth of the case. Don't lawyers ever have to show restraint, or can they spatter as much sh*t as their resources allow and hope some of it sticks? To me, he used dirty tactics and was rewarded for it. He was an intelligent man, did he really think there was another killer out there?

It was certainly his right to go around defending wife beaters, murderers and child molesters (MJ) for fame/cash/whatever, but it's also my right to be repelled his choices.

So for a complete change of pace, CNN is reporting that Pat Buchanan was doused with salad dressing! Anna Wintour and pies, Pat and salad dressing, now all we need is someone famous to get pelted with some chicken and we've got a meal. What's up with all the food throwing?
