Okay, the dress is hideous and she, being Madonna, decided that it was okay to wear LV to a Gucci event (isn't that like a diss in the fashion world?).

But what I want to know is why is she wearing shoes that look like they're two sizes too big?

Worst dressed for me was Jessica Biel and Reese Witherspoon. I swear that Eva Mendes wore a similarly white floppy napkin dress to the Golden Globes. I think Reese's dress was interesting in theory but went off the rails in its actual execution. Her hair sucked too. Reese looked AMAZING a couple years ago though in that purple Nina Ricci dress with her hair down.

Best dressed for me was Taraji P. Henson. Tilda Swinton was awesomely bizarre like she always is.

I've been watching some Oscar clips from the 80s. Can you imagine ANY of today's Best Actress nominees showing up to their big night dressed like this? I know it's Cher and people probably expected something like that from her but still, how cool was that?
I'm not all that interested in fashion, the only times I am are during awards season and everyone's been looking dull for years IMO. Sometimes there will be a pretty dress I like (like the ones Sandra Bullock and ScarJo wore to the Globes recently) but most celebs play it safe because they're scared of ending up on any Worst Dressed lists.

I was watching Cloris Leachman's Oscar acceptance speech, and she was wearing this really simple black dress that was really way too casual for the Oscars. And she hadn't done anything to her hair, there was no jewelry, and very little (if any) make-up. Her look was so understated that it looked odd to me.
