I love Carnivale, but I thought it very nearly jumped the shark when they brought Bree Walker on as a semiregular. People in the thirties didn't have bulbously collagened lips, even in freak shows.

Seeing this grotesquely plastic-surgeried woman appear onscreen in a show that's supposed to be set in the thirties is like that scene in Somewhere in Time where Christopher Reeve finds a 1980 penny in his pocket and the sight ruins his time-travelling. Bree Walker ruins the period-piece nature of the show.

Does anyone know if Michelle Kwan has had implants? I was reading a review of Ice Princess and a comment was made about her enhanced cleavage. That saddens me, yet I'd like to see photos.

I just saw a commercial for tomorrow's Oprah with Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley. Priscilla has had tons of plastic surgery to the point that she now looks like a freak, especially her mouth. I can't even describe it, just that it is so wrong and horrible. And sad, Priscilla was so beautiful when she was young, and she could be a beautiful older woman, but now she is just weird and scary looking.

Yeah, aside from the overdone 1960s makeup and huge bouffant hairstyle, Priscilla P. in the 1960s was just a really pretty young woman. Then came the [natural] aging, and apparently that wasn't acceptable, so she went the chemical peel, Botox, collagen injection, cheek implant, face lift route.

Now? She looks like a stunt double for Jack Nicholson as The Joker in Batman. No, seriously. That frozen perma-smile with the drawn-up corners is FREAKY.

It might not be so bad, looks more like bad botox than bad brow lift. If you miss the nerves over the arch of the brow, you get that Jack Nicolson look....so interesting that Jack is such a touchstone in bad plastic surgery.. (...see Priscilla Presley/mouth...)

God, Priscilla and Jessica look horrifying. Actually, Nicole Kidman should take a long, hard look at Jessica Lange because that is where her forehead is...well, headed if she doesn't lay off the botox.

This is just so sad. These women were so beautiful once and now they just look like freaks. They should take a look at the actresses who have allowed themselves to age gracefully (either by leaving their faces alone or getting minimal work done) and see how much better they look.
