On the heels of Ty Herndon, Billy Gilman also came out. My daughters had a mad crush on him when he was younger. Nysha I glanced at this and thought it said Bill Graham. "Billy Graham is gay? Isn't he dead?" So thanks for a laugh!

Nysha I glanced at this and thought it said Bill Graham. "Billy Graham is gay? Isn't he dead?" So thanks for a laugh! Billy Graham isn't dead, or gay, either! Country is hardly a gay-friendly segment of the entertainment industry, so even with all the strides in society, it makes sense that only singers well past their primes have come out so far. It'll be interesting to see the response when someone even semi-relevant in Nashville makes that step.

I read his story. I know we joke about Travolta and Cruise having beards, but Ty Herndon was actually married to two different women and each knew he was gay - legitimate beards.

He's not Hollywood, but this revelation about former Bay City Rollers lead singer Les McKeown surprised me.

He's not Hollywood, but this revelation about former Bay City Rollers lead singer Les McKeown surprised me. TC- when I was about 10 years old I had Bay City Rollers trading cards clothes pinned to the spokes of my sweet sweet bike. It was blue and had a shiny white banana seat. The 70's were not kind to anyone.

I owned their albums, Dedication and Rock and Roll Love Letter, with them on the cover in their Scottish bell bottom jeans and shirts open down to there! And Les was totally The Cute One! It's another sign I already knew which side I would be working on. Rock and Roll Love Letter Someone PLEASE bring back the 70's!!!!!!

I've always loved him, and I have to add to the chorus of not surprised. I actually was WAY surprised in the 80's when I found out that Cabaret guy was actually the dad of Jennifer Grey... I was really young and sure he was gay, and not sure how a gay guy could be a dad (I was really naive). So now I am just happy he is who he is. Every time a celebrity comes out, IMO, an angel gets its wings. ;-)
