JoJo Siwa is officially out now.
Note: I have only the vaguest idea of who she is -- some Nickelodeon series? Where she is known for wearing a ridiculously huge hair bow? I know these kids' idols only by the merchandising they generate.

I know these kids' idols only by the merchandising they generate. People have been posting on Twitter that the parents' heads of her young fans are going to explode. JoJo Siwa is now 17. Some people were wondering when her career is going to enter a new phase (and when she was going to stop dressing like an overgrown little girl). Not that I follow her closely, but I had figured that she is going to transition into a more "mature" image anyway. (I didn't anticipate her coming out.) ETA:I mean my daughters head is nearly always covered in JoJo bows, I honestly couldn't care less that she came out. Because[. . .]3) She's a not awful role model for my daughter. I agree with you!  However, it wouldn't surprise me if some people were like, "OMG, she's now one of TEH GAYS!" (as if that were contagious  ). |

My awareness of Jojo Siwa was two things 1) hair bows 2) super loud . But good for her for coming out, I wish her well in her professional life. Loud can be good when it's combined with out and proud. |

While my littles are not exactly fans of any particular preformers they do like her "Boomerang" tune because they hear it at nursery. I wish her the best. The sanctimums are likely shitting themselves.
