And this show would have the added twist of the detectives being a married couple on and off screen (ala Hart to Hart) I think as soon as these guys get back from their Honeymoon they need to begin with the network shopping and chimp auditions! |

Victor Garber confirms he's gay. Though I think it's more of a David Hyde Pierce situation where everyone knew he was gay and he never tried to hide it, he just never spoke about it publicly before. And on a shallow note, his partner is gorgeous.

And on a shallow note, his partner is gorgeous. Nope. He actually got me. I never once heard a rumor about him, nor felt a ping on the 'ol 'dar. Now, I may be the only person in the entire universe to whom this is a surprise- but he got me. So anyway. Good on him and his snuggle bunny for deciding to now publicly snuggle.... like bunnies. |

This is honestly old news, and I'm kinda surprised the way people have run with it.
I think it is the first time he's talked about his partner, but I remember reading an interview with VG several years ago where he mentioned that Ian McKellan shamed him into playing Liberace in that TV movie (came out in 1988, I think). He said he was reluctant to take the role, and Ian told him that as a gay man, it was his duty to play the character and do it honestly, so he took the part.
I read that interview during the Alias years, so it had to have been at least 4-5 years ago.
I don't think I've seen his partner before (other than the blurry pictures from a distance when Victor married Jen and Ben and he was there). He's quite handsome.

I had never seen his partner before. I had heard that the real story about the Bradley Cooper rumors was that Victor's partner somewhat resembled BC and that got twisted into all the Spy Daddy/Will Tippin affair blind items. I guess 10-11 years ago and from a distance, I can sort of see a resemblance, maybe.
