Regarding Foxfair's cleverly veiled Aussie celeb, I can believe the coke story. A year or so ago when she was promoting whatever she was promoting at the time, there was a shot of her in pants and a shirt arriving at Cannes (?) and it was actually shocking how thin she looked. I mean, shocking even for a celeb. There was nothing to her!

One rehab story that's intriguing to me is George Carlin. He claimed he went into rehab as a "preventative" measure -- Not that he was actually addicted to anything, but he feared going down that road or felt that he was getting too tempted in that direction. All I could think was, "Well, that's a new one." At least he didn't claim to be dehydrated... or exhausted...

Coke use in H-Wood is so, so much more widespread than most civilians think.

Thanks to this thread and the Celebrity Diets thread I pretty much assume all women and many men in Hollywood are using coke unless proven otherwise.

All gossip I have comes from a close friend. This close friend (and I use that term unsarcastically - this is someone I know and trust) is best friends with a famous director. They knew each other before said director got famous and spend their weekends together, travel together etc. So almost all of the info I have on various celebs comes from her.

She witnessed the Aussie doing coke in the bathroom at the after-party to the premiere party of one of her films about 2 years ago. She giggled when busted and offered some to my friend - she was partaking in the general area of the bathroom, not the stall, although this was obviously a party with a strict policy on who was getting in, so I think she probably felt safe amongst 'her people'. My friend has also attended dinner parties with this actress present. Apparently, this person is NOT like what their PR people would have us believe - in real life she actually sounds much more human and normal etc. but I guess someone somewhere decided this wasn't the image to go with.

I saw a blind item (possibly a Ted item??) last year sometime about some A-lister going a little too crazy with the coke and wondered if it was her.

Hope this constitutes 'spillage' - I don't want to give too many details because I somehow doubt my friend would approve of me posting it online. Heh.

At this dinner party, actress was drunk and happy and, as part of a discussion re: what the women at the table liked in men, loudly announced: "I LOVE big cocks!" She then went on to detail how she "couldn't be with" a man who was not well endowed. Well I never!

Nice! I have to say, I like this person much more in their hidden 'real' life than their public life.

This may not be all that shocking considering how much she's changed in recent years, but back when Britney first came out, a co-worker of mine saw her doing blow.

It was right when Baby One More Time came out in the summer. She was touring clubs and smaller venues and only sixteen at the time. Apparently she went out to a club after her show with two body guards and the owner of the club invited her to his house for a small after hours gathering, which my friend/co-worker was also invited to.

Britney showed up, whipped out her own stash right on the coffee table in his living room and started doing lines in front of everybody (granted, it wasn't a huge group of people, but still).

I was totally shocked when I was told about it the next day, cause she was this cute, virginal, christian mousekateer.
