Foxfair, I've read stories about that Aussie. Someone who saw her in a fancy store in LA said that she was coked out of her mind. This was a few years ago.

There have been recent coke rumors about Renee and Jennifer Aniston. Their drastic weight losses and weird looks make sense now.

I have heard it suggested that the "coke-bloat" is why Renee Z. looks so squinty nowadays. Not that I would know.

I'd also like to say that, whenever I see any celeb getting dangerously thin my default position is ALWAYS 'cokehead'.

I'm starting to think that way also. Which makes me worry for Kate Bosworth, who I like (be quiet). Especially with Ted C. all but saying it with items like this, from last month:

Yeah, white trash girl is obvious - her acne problem gives it away. Hey, who else in H-Wood has a suspiciously non-adolescent case of perma-acne - recently fell off her dresser? Hmmm.

Remember (all you "older" posters) when Jane Fonda came out with all her exercise videos (I bought them all) and advice on how to be thin and healthy, and it made her MILLIONS of dollars?

Turned out bitch was anorexic and bulimic.

And about the white-trash pop princess and her dealer...See, I've never bought the story that she's a meth addict. Doesn't meth speed you up - it's like the poor man's cocaine, right? People seem to use it to get thin or to accomplish things, not to get pudgy, eat all day long and loll about shopping or doing nothing with your slacker husband. I can totally buy her as smoking weed all day, but not meth. If we saw her getting really thin and running from project to project, then I'd believe it.

But the flame-haired Aussie usually seems pretty coherent... and she's got kids and seems to be able to put in consistent work. If drug-use is as wide in celeb circles, why aren't more people dead (Not that I'm trying to imply that it's not, I'm just curious). Good doctors? I'm sure ODB ain't the only one doing it that bad, right?

Becasue using drugs occasionally or socially doesn't actually mess the majority of people up. It's like alcohol: going out to a party and getting toasty once in a while isn't a big deal, it's when you start start hitting it before noon on Tuesdays all on your own that you've got a problem.
