I can't stand the bland generic looking ones and usually steer towards the girls with their own face and something actually interesting about their look.

I don't really know any of the names of the models today, and when I do see them, I don't make much of an effort to remember them, or associate their names with their faces.

I long for the days of Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Helena Christensen, etc. No time to add links right now but I'll try to find some of my favorites. One that comes to mind if the Herb Ritts photo of Naomi, Cindy, Christy, etc. all wrapped up in one big, floor-sitting hug. Peter Lindberg also took some great B&W shots of Linda. Her Kenar campaign was equally as awesome.

I think Gemma Ward is pretty. She looks like a doll to me, not an alien.

There are definitely times I think Gemma looks really scary, but often I find myself surprised at how interesting and gorgeous she is.

In terms of Gemma, there is a fine line between ''weird-looking'' and ''striking''. I think she's pretty but I can see how some might go the other way.
