Naomi Campbell is just sad. Her peers have retired from the runway, but it's like she has no exit strategy.

Why should she retire when she is still beeing booked?
I'm constanly seeing her walking for big names in the industry.

I think it's great that a female model is still getting big gigs when she is in her late 30's in an industy that discarts women as old, when they are in their late 20's.

Poor Kate Moss. If only she had a right-wing-idiot radio show all would be forgiven and it would turn out that it's someone else's fault she's hooked on drugs. I caught a picture of Kate's replacement for some (Swiss?) clothing line...Mariasomething-or-other should be good for sales if the target demographic is stick insects.

Last I heard, Karen Mulder was doing better-she went to therapy and possibly got on meds. Also she released an album that was a minor hit somewhere in Europe, maybe Germany.

I think it's great Naomi can still get booked, but I think she's a crummy person. She needs major anger-management counselling. I saw a pic of her wearing one of those shirts that say, "Naomi hit me...and I loved it!" What a dumbass. That's not something one should be bragging about.

I completly agree, she seems horrible. But modelling wise, she is one of the best, and one of my favorite models.

Kate Moss is out of rehab! She is going to make a huge comeback. Why? Because most of her firings were just for show, industry bigwigs still love her, and she still looks damn good. Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, and Linda Evangelista were always my favorite models. I used to watch that stupid George Michael "Freedom 1990" video just to see Linda and Naomi. I even recorded it people.

Unless Naomi quits while she's on top, she will eventually suffer the indignity of being 'discarded' and I don't think it's in her interest for her career to end on bad terms. She seems very narcissistic, so she will be massively bitter towards anyone or anything that suggests she is no longer that great or brilliant or unique or whatever. Most of the supermodels quit while they were ahead, and avoided this indignity.

Imo, no other model of the past 20 years (I’d be willing to go longer than that, actually) can touch Kate Moss. There’s not even a word to describe how beautiful she is.

The only model who comes close to her is Natalia Vodianova, the 22 yr. old Russian supermodel. Gorgy.

For me personally, someone (models in this case) has to move past ‘very, very pretty’ and into something else entirely to be timelessly beautiful. There are obviously a lot of extremely pretty models out there, but both Kate and Natalia V. have a strange edge that, I don’t know, had it turned out ever so slightly different, could have made them ugly. Am I looking for the term “jolie laide”? All I know is I could gaze enraptured at pictures of their faces for hours on end. ::sigh::

Giselle Bundchen has a flawless body but I’ve never found her face fascinating or anything more than sharp and pretty. Also, those boobs are TOTALLY fake!
